Wanda Coakley Biggers

Wanda Simpkins Coakley Biggers, 71 of Ashland City, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home. Wanda was born in Erin, TN to the late Roy and Stella (Harris) Coakley on May 19, 1948. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Kenny) Crossland, sisters Norma (Tony) Young and Donna (Randy) Newman, grandchildren Ken and Haley Crossland, greatgrandchildren Knox Talan and Aubriella Marie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dallas Biggers, brothers Wayne and Ronnie Coakley, nephews Kyle and Blake Maxey.  

Wanda loved spending time with her family, especially her great grand babies. She loved going on cruises with family and on weekends going to the Casino with her friends. One of her greatest passions was working at the Tennessee Prison for Women for over 20 years before she retired. Wanda will be missed by many.

The Celebration of Life for Wanda Biggers will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Wednesday August 28^th from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of her service at 1:00 pm with Joe Bogle and Anthony Bishop officiating.
