Vickey Williams Ford

Vickey Williams Ford, age 54 of Ashland City, TN passed away suddenly at home on October 21, 2019. Vickey was born on August 30, 1965 in Guin, Alabama to the late Hubert and Vona Green Williams. She is survived by her husband, John C. Ford; sons, Robert Ford, Kenny Ford, and John Welby Ford; brothers, Hubert (Edsel) Williams, James Roy Williams, Tim Williams, and John (Bo) Williams; sisters, Jane Williams Garrett, Peggy Skelton, Jeronia Harringer, Vivian Norman, and Joy Willow (Dr. John M. ) Ford; and granddaughter, Raeghan Ford. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dwight Williams and Ottis Hugh Williams. Vicky was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a bright light in all the lives she touched over her 28 year career as a school teacher. She will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

Visitation with local friends and family will be held at Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 4-7pm, and a Celebration of Life Service for Vickey will be held on Saturday morning, October 26th at 10 am with Pastor Barry Raper of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church officiating.

Following the service, Vickey will be transferred to Hamilton, AL where another service will be held in her honor for her family there, and where she will be laid to rest beside her mother at New Hope Free Will Baptist Cemetery.
