Pamela Louise Roys

Pamela Louise Roys, 71 of Nashville, Tn, passed away on Sunday March 3^rd, 2019 in Nashville, Tn. Pamela was born in Indianapolis, In on March 16, 1947 to the late Frank and Betty (Buchcannan) Smerdel. She is survived by her husband David Roys, daughters Jennifer L. Serrano and Laura A. (Carl) Gibson and grandchildren Dominic (Risha) Serrano, Taye J. Gibson and Adrianne Serrano and Ajani C. Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pam was a Nurse for fifteen years, working at hospitals and nursing homes. She worked part time and volunteered at the Cumberland Science Museum where her knowledge of the human body was fully utilized and her passion for wildlife and environmental sciences developed.  She was a Girl Scout leader for 24 years for the North Nashville area girls and immersed then in all aspects of scouting, including her love for the outdoors, whether they liked it or not. We will always remember the good times as children growing up. She provided us with an unlimited amount of fun, educational and once in a lifetime experiences.

The visitation with family will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015, on Saturday March 16^th, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of her Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.  Arrangements by the Boyd F.H.   615-792-4677   www.boydfh.com
