Michael Kay Upchurch

Michael Kay Upchurch, age 63, of Ashland City, TN passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home. He was born on September,17, 1956 in Nashville, TN to the late Herbert Kay Upchurch and Doris Juanita Upchurch. Michael served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after 8 months. Also, he worked as an electrician with the Metro Water and Sewage Service. Michael enjoyed building things, fishing, shooting guns, and he especially loved his dog, Kate. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Nicholas Michael Upchurch (Amanda) and Andrew Paul Upchurch (Brent); siblings, James R. Upchurch (Debbie), Andrea Upchurch (Robert English), and Mary LaVon Biggs (R.B.); grandchildren, Kimber Upchurch and Hayden Upchurch. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years, Jeannette Upchurch. A visitation for Michael will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Boyd Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A private graveside service will be conducted on Friday, June 26, 2020.
