Matthew Jacob Phillips

Matthew Jacob Phillips, age, 29 of Crossville, TN, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Matthew was born on October 25, 1994, in Nashville, TN to Lonnie E. Phillips and Lisa Wilson Bratton. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lonnie H. Phillips, and Johnny Wilson. He is survived by his parents, Lonnie, and Lisa; brother, Jackson Bratton; sisters, Amanda Phillips, Hali Lentz, Irelyn Bratton, Ava Bratton; grandmothers, Jackie Philips Nancy Wilson; nephews, Aiden, Brennan, Ethan, Jason, Damien and nieces, Zoey, and Sophia. 

Matthew was a loving son, brother and “funcle (fun uncle)". He loved his long hair, and he had a sense of style, everything had to be put together well. He was artistic and loved to draw and write and play video games. He was a diligent worker, and never missed a day of work. He loved his family, especially his aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Boyd Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
