Mary Lois Waffird

Mary Lois Waffird, 94 of Cross Plains, TN, passed away on Sunday March 24, 2019 at the Bridges at Highland Nursing Home in Portland Tn. Mary was born in Mayfield, KY to the late Bill and Lois (Acree) Workman on April 24, 1924. She is survived by her son William ‘Bubba’ (Melissa) Waffird, Jr, daughters Donna Troxel and Betty Sue (Gabrial) Morales, grandchildren Joey, Monica, Megan, David, Marcus and Courtney, and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Waffird, Sr, daughter Vanessa Hardesty, one brother, two sisters, three grandchildren Brandy, Breanna and Danny. Mary was a caregiver, helping many people with love and care over many years. The one day visitation and service for Mary Waffird will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015, on Thursday March 28^th, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm, with Alan Desmond presiding.
