Joseph Clifford Stem

Mr. Joseph Clifford Stem, age 88, of Chapmansboro, TN passed away on 11/02/2021. Mr. Stem was born in Murfreesboro, TN in June of 1933 to the late John Wesley Stem and Dora Jane (Haynes) Stem. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He loved listening to old country music and working with his hands in woodworking, creating things for family and friends like porch swings, cedar chests, toy chests and building cabinets for the kitchen. Mr. Stem was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: Willie Stem, Tommie Stem, Houston Stem, and Albert Stem, and 2 sisters: Nancy Stem and Mamie Stem. He is survived by his wife Sandra (Fewell) Stem of Chapmansboro, TN, his sons Pete Stem (Cheryl), Ricky Stem (Diane) and Donnie Stem (Sherry) and his daughter Brenda Connolly (Joe), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. The family will receive friends and guests, Saturday November 06, 2021, from 11am -3pm. A Memorial Service will immediately follow the visitation at 3pm on November 06, 2021, both will be held in the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN Mr. Stem wished to be cremated which will take place after the Memorial Service.
