Dorothy (Dot) Demonbreun

Services for Dorothy (Dot) Bracey Demonbreun, age 96, will be May 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Bro. John Richardson will officiate. The family will receive friends on May 23 from 4-7 p.m. and May 24 from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Mrs. Demonbreun went to be with Jesus on May 21, 2021. She was born on December 3, 1924 in Cheatham County, TN to Clarence and Mary Bracey. Dorothy retired from Acme Boot in Ashland City where she worked for 35 years. She served as Union Steward during that time. In addition to her parents, Dot is preceded in death by her husband, Hudson; sons, Donnie, Charles and Leslie Demonbreun; daughter-in-law, Betty Sue Demonbreun; grandson, Jimmy Demonbreaun; and sister Tennie Teasley. She is survived by sons, Roger (Kathleen) Demonbreun, Douglas (Christine) Demonbreun; Mike (Brenda) Demonbreun and daughter, Mary Gail Nickerson. Also thirteen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on May 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
