Obituary Notice Rex Edward Adams, Sr. Rex Edward Adams, Sr., age 83 of Ashland City, TN died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at his home. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret "MeeMaw" Marie Adams and granddaughter Abbagail Leigh Adams. He is survived by wife Betty Ruth Adams of Ashland City, TN; son Rex Edward (Beth) Adams, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; daughter Kaywin "Kaye" (Charles) Chandler of Ashland City, TN; grandchildren Everette M. "Clint" (Brenda) Cowley, II, Matthew Rexdon Cowley, Larry Justin Adams, LeAnne (JR) Webber; great-grandchildren Megan Ann Cowley, Everette Murray Cowley, III, Clark James Cowley, Catherine Murann Cowley, Garrett Paladin Webber, Dakota Ray Adams, Kalvin Alexander Webber and Gaige Leon Shadowens. Visitation will be held at Boyd Funeral Home in Ashland City, TN on Wednesday, Oct. 19 from 2-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 21 from 9 -11 a.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Boyd Funeral Home with David Steppee and Bro. Terry Forrest officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Erin, TN. Pallbearers will be Everette Cowley, II, Matthew Cowley, Larry Adams, James Edgin, JR Webber and W. C. Howell.
