Barbara (Shores) Cole

Barbara Sue (Shores) Cole age 63 of Clarksville, TN died on Thursday March 22, 2012 at the Christian Care Center in Ashland City, TN. She was preceded in death by her father William Blake Leach-Shores, her mother Mary Ellen (Simpkins) Shores, and brothers Phineas and Anderson Shores. She is survived by her husband David Cole of Clarksville, sons Billy (Linda) Pentecost of Chapmansboro, Tony Simpkins of Chapmansboro, daughters Susan Biggs of Pleasent View, Tammy Holder of Clarksville, brothers Tommy Shores of Springfield, Leonard Shores of Chapmansboro, Donnie Ray Shores of Ashland City, sisters Helen Ellis of Ashland City, Beverly Ledbetter of Clarksville, and eleven grandchildren. Visitations for Barbara Cole will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City on Friday March 23rd from 3 till 8pm, and on Saturday from 9 till 10am. Funeral service for Barbara Sue (Shores) Cole will be from the chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 10:00am, with Bro. Richard Hand officiating. Burial will follow at the Shores Cemetery in Ashland Citry, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorials in honor of Barbara Cole be made to the Boyd Funeral Home for final expenses. The family has entrusred the Boyd Funeral Home with these arrangements.
