Rebecca Sue Stewart

Rebecca Sue Stewart long time resident of Ashland City age 93, passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Ashland City. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Martha (Simmons) Stewart, sisters Pauline Shores and Lois Davis, and nephew James M. Shores. "Miss Becky" is survived by her 'Guardian Angel' Brenda Beavers, great niece Jayme Shores Goodsell, great nephew Patrick (Bonnie) Shores, great great nephew Jackson Shores and great great niece Jordan Berman. Rebecca Stewart lived for her Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church. She was a member of the Women Active for Christ, the Free Will Baptist College, and the Pleasent View Christian School. She started the Young at Heart and was active looking after the homebound and spreading the word of God. Vistitation for Rebecca Stewart will be at the Boyd Funeral Home at 101 Elizabeth St. in Ashland City, TN on Friday April 20th from 2-8pm. The Funeral Service for Rebecca Sue Stewart will be at the Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church at 1:00pm on Saturday the 21st with Bro. Wayne Bess officiating. There will be a short visitation at the church from 12-1pm before the service starts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Honor of "Miss Becky" to the Ashland City Free Will Baptist Church and the Free Will Baptist College. Rebecca Sue Stewart entrusted her funeral requests to the Boyd Funeral Home.
