Wilson "Billy" BAKER

Wilson Donald "Billy" Baker passed away on October 23, 2012 at his residence in Springfield on his 100th birthday. He was born on October 23, 1912 in Cheatham County where he grew up, worked at the Acme Boot Co. and retired after 35 years of service and was a member of the Ashland City Baptist Church for 60 years. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mattie. He is survived by his son Harold (Angela) Baker, daughters Peggy Baker, Annette (Gary) Clark, and Pam Powers. Billy was the proud grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and twenty one great grand children, with special thanks and appreciation going to his special care giver, his grandson Robert Clark. Visitation for Billy Baker will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. in Ashland City on Friday October 26th from 10am - 1pm. The Funeral Service for Wilson Donald "Billy" Baker will also be on Friday October 26, 2012 following the visitation at 1:00pm with Bro. David Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. Arrangements by the Boyd Funeral Home.
