Troy F. Cook, Sr.

Troy F. Cook, Sr. of Ashland City, TN passed away on Thursday November 15, 2012 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was born to parents William and Erma (Lockhart) Cook in Tampa, FL on December 14, 1940. Troy Cook, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Inez Cook, Mona Cook, Sandra Thomas and Ragina Nenez. He is survived by his wife Sharon Cook, sons Troy (Joslynn) Cook, Jr., David (Ashley) Cook, daughter Lisa (Ruben) Alba and brother Ronald Smith. Troy had thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Troy proudly served in the United States Marines, he was a semi pro boxer, and he was a hard working businessman. Visitation for Troy Cook, Sr. will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City on Tuesday November 20th from 12 noon till 2pm. A private family funeral service for Troy Farrell Cook, Sr. will be at 2:00pm in the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens at 2:30pm
