Kitty Simpkins

Kitty Simpkins 83 died on Friday January 11, 2013 at the Clear Bridge Nursing Home in Goodlettsville, Tn. She was born on July 13, 1929, the daughter of Charles Murphy and Ruby King in Stone Mountain, Ga. Kitty is survived by sons Jimmy O. (Sue) Simpkins of Springfield, TN., Robert L. (Brenda) Simpkins of Ashland City, TN., Michael L. Simpkins of Nashville, TN., Kelly A. (Michelle) Simpkins of Lebanon, TN. and daughter Kitty Cathy Kay (Jack) Rickard of Ciero, IN. Kitty had sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edgar Ozell Simpkins, son Ronald E. Simpkins, brothers Lamar and Charles Murphy, and sister Frances Akins. Visitations for Kitty Simpkins will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday January 14 from 4-8pm and on Tuesday 9-11am. The Funeral Service for Guyoma "Kitty" Catherine Simpkins will be in the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday the 15th following visitation at 11:00am.
