Willie Mae 'Mim Mim' Buckner

Willie Mae Buckner, Mim Mim to friends and family, age 80 died on Monday January 28, 2013 in Powder Springs, GA. She was born on April 19, 1932 to parents Phillip and Mary Lou Tate Tucker in Ashland City, TN. Mim Mim is survived by her sons Bill (Sheila) Allen, Paul (Patsy) Allen and David (Gen) Allen, daughter Debra Snell, sister Ella (Charles) Travis and daughter-in-law Gail Allen. Mim Mim had thirteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren. Ms. Buckner was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Buckner, son Johnny Allen and brother George Tucker. Visitation for Willie Mae Buckner will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St., Ashland City on Thursday January 31st from 2-8pm and on Friday from 9-11am. The Funeral Service will follow on Friday at 11:00am with Bro. Leon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View.
