Robert Bruce

Robert Douglas "Bob" Bruce age 78 died suddenly on March 4, 2013 in Nashville, TN at Centennial Hospital. Bob was born on October 6, 1934 to parents Edgar and Francis (Rittenberry) Bruce in Nashville, TN. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary K. Bruce, daughters Dana (David) Bailey, Tina Ostrom, Grandchildren Bryin Keith Hager (Chassady Woods), Philip Ray Ashworth (Taylor Greer), great grandchild Brooklyn LeeAnn Hager, and nephew James Bruce Jr. (Betty Bruce). Bob served his country with pride and honor in the United States Navy and retired after 22 years of service. Special thanks to Dr. Reggie Anderson and the staff of Centennial Medical Center. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation for Bob Bruce will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday March 7th from 2:30-3:30 and his service will follow at 3:30pm, burial will follow at the Ever Rest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View with Military Honors.
