Peggy Sue Messer

Peggy Sue Messer, 74 died on Monday December 16, 2013 at the St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. She was born on February 07, 1939 in Chapmansboro, TN to parents Thomas and Ruby (Perry) Williams. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Allen Messer, sons Stephen (Katrina) Messer, David (Terri) Messer and Philip (Kathryn) Messer, brother Rev. Jerry (Bonnie) Williams. Peggy had six grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Jonathan, Micah, Ruth and Daniel, and four great grandchildren Gabriel, Remington, Elizabeth and Julia. For over fifty years Peggy played the piano. She, over the years, played for several local churches and gave lessons to many of the area children. There will be a graveside service for Peggy Sue Messer on Wednesday December 18, 2013 in the EverRest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens on Hwy. 49 in Pleasant View at 11:00am with the Rev. Randy Corn officiating. Burial will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in honor of Peggy be made to the Wounded Warrior Program.
