John Woolverton

John Samuel Woolverton age 62 of Pleasant View TN died on Saturday December 28, 2013 at the Centennial Hospital in Ashland City. John was born on January 11, 1951 in Hopewell, New Jersey to parents John F. and Lena (Ditman) Woolverton. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother William Wooters. John is survived his wife Patricia Woolverton, sons William and John Jr. Woolverton, brothers Richard (Mary) Woolverton of TX and Reggie Woolverton of PA, sisters Dot Russell of NJ, Ann (Tony) Latrio of Fl, Mary Baker of NC, Virginia Testa of NJ, Kate (Herman) Heston of TN, Irene (Mark) Heater of PA and Parnie Woolverton of PA. John had five grandchildren Nelina, Emily, Camaron Woolverton, Joshua McDougall, and Mareagan Woolverton, and many loving nieces and nephews. John was the courthouse security deputy for the Cheatham County Sheriffs Dept. Visitation for John Woolverton was held at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday December 30th from 3-8pm and again on Tuesday from 10-2pm. His funeral service was Tuesday December 31, 2013 in The Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home at 2:00pm. Burial followed at the Smith Neptune Cemetery in Cheatham County. In Lieu of Flowers memorials in Honor of John be made to Patricia Woolverton towards their grandchildren continuing education.
