Doris Raymond Dozier, 79 of Pleasant View died on Monday March 10, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 22, 1934 to parents Alvin and Elizabeth (Hooper) Dozier in Ashland City, TN. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Betty Soloman, Billie Ruth Hampton, Marcie Selph. He is survived by his wife Shelby Dozier, son Doris R. (Terri) Dozier, JR, brother Arnold (Mary) Dozier, and grandchildren Travis and Grant Dozier. Visitation will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Tuesday March 11th from 4-8pm and Wednesday from 11-1pm. The Funeral Service for Doris Raymond Dozier will be from the Chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday March 12, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. Jason Bell officiating. Burial will follow at the EverRest of Cheatham Memory Gardens in Pleasant View, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Shriners Hospital.
