Virgie Iola Cartwright, 56 of Ashland City died on Tuesday March 11, 2014 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Virgie was born on May 5, 1957 in Pegram, TN to parents William and Vera (Kiger) Brim. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Crystal Hows, brothers Ben Brim, Jackie Stenson, and sister Brenda Adam. She is survived by her husband Mark Cartwright, daughter Jessica Lynn Cartwright, brother Homer Brim, sister Emma Biggs, five grandchildren Leann Hows, Jonathan Hows, Alena Cartwright, Jacquelyn Cartwright, Calra Cartwight, and two great grandchildren Trinity Marie Hows and Christian Grandberry. Visitation for Virgie Cartwright will be in the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday March 13th from 4-8pm, and on Friday from 9:30 -10am. Her funeral service will be on Friday March 14, 2014 at 10:00am with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Cemetery on Hwy. 100 in Davidson Co. at 12:00pm.
