Wrenn Hoper McLaulaughlin-88 of Ashland City died on Friday April 25, 2014 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born on December 12, 1925 in Ashland City to parents Earl and Verdie (Williams) McLaughlin. Wrenn is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Jean McLaughlin, sons Jeffrey McLaughlin, Shane (Robin) McLaughlin, daughters Diddra (Craig) Johnson, and Angela Jackson He had six grandchildren Troy Teasley, Kyle (Angie) Jackson, Chadwick Jackson, Ashley (Joseph) Austin, Bethany (Jared) Crain, and Tyler (Catie) McLaughlin, and seven great grandchildren. Wrenn enjoyed to garden, work on the farm and fish. He served his country in the United States Navy when he was a young man. Visitation with the family was on Sunday April 27th from 4-8pm and on Monday from 11-1pm. The funeral service for Wrenn McLaughlin was on Monday April 28, 2014 at 1:00pm with Bro. David Jones officiating. His burial followed at the Will Smith cemetery in Ashland City. Arrangements by the Boyd Funeral Home, Alan C.
