Mavis Geraldine Ford- 83 of Ashland City died on Thursday August 28, 2014 at her home. Geraldine Ford was born on May 8, 1931 to parents Adolf and Josie (Gibbs) Fluckiger in London, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth Heath Ford, brother Simon Fluckiger, and sister Aierrta Hamilton. She is survived by her son John C. (Vickey) Ford, daughters Linda Ford and Cassie Ford, sisters Cappy Watkins, Ina (Andrew) Jones, and Shirley Smith, three grandchildren John Welby, Kenneth James and Robert Calvin, and one great grandchild Raeghan Ford. Visitation for Geraldine Ford will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday August 31st from 3-7:30pm, and on Monday September 1st at the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church on Mosley Ferry Rd in Chapmansboro, from 10am-12 noon. Her funeral service will be at the church at 12:00 noon, burial will follow the service at the Bethel Cemetery.
