Leonard Barnes -92 of Scottsboro, TN passed away on Sunday January 4, 2015 at the Tri Star Skyline Med. Ctr., Madison Campus. Leonard was born on July 26, 1922 to parents Robert E. and Lela (Manley) Barnes in Nashville, TN. He is preceded in by his parents, wife Ina Barnes, brothers John Robert, Robert Emmett, Jr., Leo, Odell, Doris, Bill, and Wesley Barnes, sisters Edith Collins, Bessie Harrington, Jessie Taylor, Mae Clark, Rosie Wilhite, Alice (Sissy) Bowman, and infant sibling twins at birth. He is survived by son Leonard W. Barnes, daughters Linda Warren, May Windrow (Paul Wayne), Becky Gordon (Murray), Barbara Rhoades (George), sister Bernice Gilley (Burton). His family had fifteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Leonard was a big cowboy, western movie and Roy Rogers fan, he loved his farm and spent much of his time on his tractor. Visitation for Leonard will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 -7pm and on Friday from 10am till time of service in true western style at "High Noon".
