Floyd “Lewis” Hooper, 81 of Ashland City, TN passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville TN. Lewis was born May 29, 1935 in Ashland City TN to parents James LaNell and Callie Estella (McCool) Hooper. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Louise Binkley; sons, Michael Lewis Hooper, Tony Lee Hooper and Terry Lynn Hooper; brothers, James Hooper and David Hooper; sister, Jenny Pickett. He is survived by his son, Eric Hooper of Charlotte; daughter, Teresa (Ricky) Mitchell of Portland; brothers, Harold (Martha Ann) Hooper and Jerry Hooper both of Ashland City; sisters, Stella (Leroy) Tidwell of Bon Aqua and Zona Mae Lyons of Ashland City; sister-in-law, Fay (Jim) Hardesty; four grandchildren, Alyssa Pruitt, Jason Hooper, Dustin (Danielle) Pruitt and Carla Hooper and one great-grandchild, Austin Pruitt. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Monday, October 10, from 9:00 am to the hour of the service at 1:00 PM with Bro. Drake Jenkins officiating at Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth Street, Ashland City TN. Burial will follow at Greenbrier Cemetery in Greenbrier TN.
