Lovie Frances Allen age 96 of Ashland City passed away on Saturday December 10th, 2016 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. She was born on August 30th, 1920 to parents Hubert and Carrie (Perry) Harris in Ashland City, TN. Lovie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Claude Allen, daughter Annetta Chandler, nine brothers and two sisters, son in laws Leon Hudson and Pat Chandler. She is survived by sons Harris Chubby' (Marvelyn) Allen, Steve (Susan) Allen, daughters Helen (Jimmy) Ellis, Clementine Pace, eleven Grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Lovie worked many years at the Acme Boot Co. Visitation for Lovie Francis Allen will be at the Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday December 11th from 4 -7pm and Monday from 10am till time of service at 12 noon.
