John A. Mackenzie -89

John Andrew Mackenzie, age 89 of Ashland City, TN passed away on December 17th, 2016 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Ashland City. John was born on November 5, 1927 to parents Robert and Lorena (Simpkins) Mackenzie, in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edith Mackenzie, son Emmitt Wayne Mackenzie, daughter Glenda Marie Hardison, and one sister. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Wilson, grandchildren Amy Sanders, Eric Wilson and three great grandchildren. John served his country starting in the U.S. Navy, then served in the United States Marine Corps. Visitation for John Andrew Mackenzie will be on Monday December 19th from 3 - 7pm and on Tuesday from 10am till time of service at 12:00 noon.
