Wilma 'Granny' Harris -77

Wilma "Granny" Harris, 77 of Ashland City, passed away on March 10, 2017 at the Tri Star Centennial Hospital in Ashland City. Wilma was born on May 6, 1939 in Vanleer, TN to the late Josh and Rosie (Smith) Proctor. Granny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jimmy Harris, brothers R.C., James Junior, Bill and Stanley Proctor, sisters Ruth Felts, Ann Hildebrand, Margie Fleet, and Agnes Dunnagan, Edna Proctor and Robbie Parchman, granddaughter Angie Allen, grandsons Joshua and Travis Harris. Granny is survived by sons Robert and Eddie W. Harris and Marvin (Keisha Allen) Harris, daughters Debbie (Chris) Allen, Mary (Vance) Mayo and Janice (Ray) Legg, daughter-in-law Carolene Allen, five grandchildren Crystal, Robert, Kevin, Bronson and Raeleigh, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation with family will be at the Boyd Funeral Home, 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, 37015 on Sunday March 12 from 4 - 7pm and Monday from 10am till time of service at 12 noon with Bro. Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery.
