Shirley 'Punkin' Taylor -46

Shirley Ann ‘Punkin’ Hamblin Taylor, 46 of Joelton, TN passed away on Monday March 5th, 2018 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Punkin was born on July 03, 1971 in Nashville, TN to parents David D. and Jessie G. (Hooper) Hamblin. She is survived by her mother, husband Howard Taylor, son Gary Wayne Taylor, daughter Caitlin B. Taylor, brothers David, Jr, Thomas and Stephen Hamblin, sisters Anita Faye Maffei, and Kristy M. Hamblin. She was preceded in death by her father. Shirley worked several years at the Woodmont Church of Christ in Nashville.  The family has requested donations in memory of Shirley’s passing be made to the Boyd Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. The one day visitation with service for Shirley ‘Punkin’ Taylor will be at the Boyd Funeral Home 101 Elizabeth St. Ashland City, TN 37015 on Monday March 12th, 2018 from 10 am until time of service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Justin Gung officiating. Burial will follow at the Joelton Memorial Gardens on Hwy. 41. Arrangements by the Boyd F.H.   615-792-4677.
