Obit for James Edward Whitmore, Sr.James Edward Whitmore Sr., 80 of Greenbrier, TN passed on Tuesday May 1st 2018 at Waters of Cheatham. James was born on April 20, 1938 to the late Martin Earnest Whitmore, Sr. and Ardyce Van Dusen. James was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Twila Whitmore, Joyce Whitmore, brother Martin Whitmore, Jr., sister Barbara Pohl, two grandchildren Jamie Pohl and Jennifer Piper. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Whitmore, sons Jim Whitmore, Jr., John Whitmore, daughter Jeri Ann Johnson, sister Connie Cross, stepchildren Vicky, Jimmy, Sheila, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The visitation will be Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 4pm-8pm and Thursday May 3, 2018 from 10am until time of service at 11am in the chapel of the Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor David Davis officiating and the burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
